"Sound Techniques" 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Saloon

Alright then. Something a little different with this post but anyone here that loves old cars, should find this interesting. I've always been a car nut and for those of you who also love the classics, with a close look at the lines on the new ZR, you'll quickly realize that I've designed many classic automotive related tidbits into the frame.

When we bought the company from Geoff Frost, he was kind enough to include the entire photo archive that he'd collected over the years with the sale in regard to Sound Techniques. Geoff even included the photos of his "Sound Techniques" 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Saloon. The first two photos in this post are from Geoff and of his DB6. Recently, we were contacted by the man who bought the car from Geoff and by the individual who owns it now. The story behind this Aston is absolutely amazing! After it left Geoff, the Aston was fitted for racing and hill climbs in the UK...racing at all sorts of tracks including one of my favorite places in the world, Goodwood.

So, today we're posting some photos for the gearheads. We think that the story of the AM DB6-Sound Techniques-Racing and Rock 'N Roll is a killer combination for a story in mags like Motorsport, Top Gear or Classic and Sports Car. I'd certainly buy a copy! Hope you enjoy the pics and as always, thanks to our founder Geoff Frost!

NAMM 2018

NAMM 2018

Sound Techniques had an amazing turn out at the 2018 NAMM Show.

THANKS TO ALL WHO VISITED US AT OUR BOOTH.

One of the highlights of the show was legendary recording engineer Ken Scott. Ken Was at the Sound Techniques booth remixing a few of the classic recordings he helped to craft in the 60's, 70's and 80's. NAMM marks the future of Sound Techniques on the global recording scene.
